About
My name is Jacky, and I’m a 28-year-old multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. I originally studied biology, drawn to the structure and mystery of the natural world. After graduating, a disability diagnosis led me to step away from my planned career in science. In search of healing, I began working with clay—sculpting earrings as a form of therapy. What started as a quiet act of self-care gradually became a powerful source of joy and creative purpose. Through this unexpected transformation, I discovered that art could offer something science never had: a direct connection to wonder, intuition, and source.
My work is deeply inspired by the intersection of science fiction, biology, and spirituality. I see each piece as a bridge between the tangible and the ineffable—an exploration of the cosmos through texture, form, and imagination. I aim to translate the language of the universe into wearable sculpture, inviting others to reconnect with mystery, meaning, and joy.
Beyond my studio practice, I find inspiration in the natural world. I enjoy fossil hunting, spending time in community, kayaking, and caring for my two beloved bearded dragons (Pogona vitticeps). These passions feed my creative process and ground my work in both science and spirit.
